She specialized in large-scale architectural glass installations across the West Coast. Over time, her passion for innovation led her into the world of fine art, where she could fully explore her creative voice without limits. Now based outside Santa Fe, New Mexico, Shannon continues to push the boundaries of glass art from her home studio.

Shannon Castle’s career as an artist began doing commission pieces for architectural installations, and this remained her focus from the founding of Shannon Studios in 1981 until 2003 when her visions led her to create art purely for its own sake. Her installation works, however, were always unique and beyond the realm of the commercial.
