You are a diver in the deepest ocean. You enter a cave, and turn on your spotlight, and in that sudden flash you catch a glimpse of the supernatural. Two mermaids, sisters, surrounded by a swirl of color. No one will believe you when you tell them what you’ve seen, but the memory will stay with you forever. Part of the artist’s Mermaids series, Sisters is created with paints, gold leaf, and mixed media on an un-carved glass panel.

Many of the techniques used in the creation of the original piece are incorporated into the artist’s unique reproductions. All reproductions are created by the artist and her team in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
