Originally created as a commission for a collector in the Seattle area, who remodeled a house around it, The Tree of Life is in full bloom and surrounded by secrets. Ringed by miniature scenes of mythical creatures, characters drawn from deep within the imagination and passion of the artist, and held up by hands of God, the path to the One Tree is paved in gold. 

Created from multiple layers of glass, including the water-jet cut glass frame, each detail is carved into the glass from the front, bas relief style, and then colored resins were poured into the channels and surfaces of the carving to create the effects you see here.

The Tree of Life resides in Kirkland WA in the home of a private collector. Reproductions available by commission only.
