Malena represents the latest creation in the artist’s Mermaids series. This work is notable not only for its exquisite beauty but for the original approach the artist took in its creation. Beginning with a 3/4” thick glass panel, it is carved on two sides, giving the piece an uncanny depth and almost holographic movement, then multiple techniques were used to bring color to the creation, including poured resins, liquid graphite and gold leaf.

Malena lives in Seattle, WA in the home of a private collector.
