Glass Harley Davidson 1958 Duo-Glide

Standing apart from all of her other creations, Shannon Castle's to-scale reproduction of a Harley Davidson 1958 Duo-Glide Motorcycle is the artist's undeniable masterpiece. This hand-carved sculpture, weighing over 2,000lbs is 9 inches thick, 78 inches long, and 48 inches in height. Unprecedented in art history, the first of it's kind, this creation is a testament to both the skill and tenacity of the artist. Even the blueprints had to be drawn by hand, to scale, in order to begin to execute this design.

Castle has plans to re-create her Harley Davidson Duo-Glide, to scale, in 2026. The process is meticulous and highly-skilled, but Castle’s new Glass Motorcycle will shatter expectations of what was previously thought achievable within the medium of glass.

Castle’s completed new Glass Motorcycle will be available for private purchase, auction, or display in galleries, storefronts, and museums.
